Segway Ninebot Max Series (G30, G2, G3)
Discover the Segway G Series electric scooters—long-range, powerful, and commuter-ready with dual suspension and smart features for a smoother daily ride.

Best For: Daily commuters who value range, comfort, and reliable build quality
The Segway Ninebot Max lineup — particularly the G30, G2, and G3 models — has earned a loyal following for one big reason: these scooters just work. Whether you're riding to work, to the store, or around the neighborhood with ease, the Max series brings together solid construction, long battery life, and a level of ride comfort that’s hard to beat in the commuter category.
The G30
The G30 is the OG — simple, dependable, and known for its long range (up to 40 miles on a single charge). It was designed for people who don’t want to think twice about whether their battery will last the day.
Then came the G2, which introduced rear suspension for a smoother experience on uneven sidewalks and city streets.
The G3 takes it up another notch with dual suspension (front and rear), more motor power, and added stability, making it a strong choice for riders who want a more premium feel without entering sport scooter territory for an even smoother, more stable ride — especially on cracked pavement or uneven bike lanes.
The Max Series
Where the Max series shines is in the ride feel: wide deck, grippy tires, intuitive throttle, and the kind of suspension that takes the edge off urban bumps. You won’t feel rattled at the end of a 30-minute ride. But there’s a tradeoff — they’re not light. At around 41–48 lbs, these aren’t ideal for someone who needs to haul their scooter up stairs every day. They do fold down and roll easily though, and yes, they fit in most car trunks.
All models come with pneumatic tires for better shock absorption, a regenerative braking system, and smart features like cruise control and app-enabled anti-theft locks. They fold easily and stay compact — but here’s the reality: they’re not light. Weighing in at around 41–48 lbs depending on the model, they’re not ideal for carrying up multiple flights of stairs every day. That said, they do fit easily in most car trunks and can roll smoothly alongside you if you’re navigating elevators or ramps.
In real-world use, these scooters feel steady, well-built, and comfortable — especially on longer rides. The deck is wide enough for a natural stance, and the handlebars feel secure even at higher speeds. Charging takes about 6 hours from empty to full, but most people only need to top it up every few rides.
Compared to the Segway F-Series:
Both the Max and F-Series are considered commuter scooters, but they serve slightly different riders.
The F2E is better suited for casual or beginner riders looking for a budget-friendly, lighter-weight ride. In contrast, the Max Series is ideal for intermediate to advanced users who prioritize long range and comfort on daily commutes. If you’re just getting started, the F2E is a great entry point. If you’re ready to commit to daily rides or longer commutes, the Max G2 or G3 will serve you well with added performance and durability.
The Max series is heavier but also tougher, more powerful, and better suited for longer rides or rougher paths. If you're just starting out or prioritizing ease of transport, go F-Series. But if you're in it for the long haul and want a scooter that grows with you, the Max series is the better investment.
